At Opaline Paris, we don't create jewelry to stay in a box. We create it to live with you. Because we know the quality of our plating (3 microns on Sterling Silver 925) and the expertise of our workshops, we are committed to lasting quality.

1. Commercial Warranty (1 year)

We offer a one-year commercial warranty from the date of purchase on most of our creations. If, despite all the care taken, your jewelry should have a defect, we undertake to repair or replace it.

The covered jewelry:

  • Necklaces and Pendants
  • Rings
  • Bracelets and Bangles

The exception (Earrings): Due to their particularly delicate nature (thin posts, precision mechanisms) and for strict hygiene reasons, earrings are not covered by the one-year commercial warranty once worn, except in the case of a proven defect upon unpacking.

2. What the warranty covers

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and abnormal wear of the plating:

  • A necklace clasp that breaks without force.
  • A coating that flakes or oxidizes abnormally despite the maintenance instructions having been followed.
  • The loss of a stone (defective setting).

3. What the warranty does not cover

The warranty does not apply in the event of damage caused by improper or accidental use:

  • Accidental breakage: A chain torn off, a ring bent following an impact, or crushing.
  • Chemical oxidation: A piece of jewelry blackened by exposure to chlorine (swimming pool), seawater, or corrosive household products.
  • Natural wear and tear: Micro-scratches due to daily friction are normal on precious metal and do not constitute a defect.

4. How do I claim under the warranty?

It's very simple. If you have a problem with your ring, bracelet, or necklace:

  1. Send us an email to hello@opaline.paris with your order number .
  2. Please attach a clear photo of the defect.
  3. Our team will validate the claim and tell you the procedure for exchange or repair.
