Size guide
Afraid of making a mistake? Don't panic.
At Opaline Paris, we want your jewelry to fit you like a second skin. Follow our simple tips to choose the perfect size.
1. The Rings
This is the most delicate measurement. To find out your size, we offer two methods.
Method 1: Measure one of your rings (Most reliable)
If you already have a ring that fits you well on the desired finger:
- Place the ring on a flat surface.
- Measure the inside diameter of the ring (without taking the metal into account) using a millimeter ruler.
- Refer to the table below.
Method 2: Measure your finger circumference
If you don't have a ring handy:
- Take a piece of string or a strip of paper.
- Wrap it around the base of your finger (without squeezing too tightly).
- Mark the meeting point with a pen.
- Measure the resulting length (circumference) in millimeters.
Correspondence Table
| French size (Your size) | Inner Diameter (mm) | Finger circumference (mm) |
| 50 | 15.9 mm | 50 mm |
| 52 | 16.5 mm | 52 mm |
| 54 | 17.2 mm | 54 mm |
| 56 | 17.8 mm | 56 mm |
| 58 | 18.5 mm | 58 mm |
| 60 | 19.1 mm | 60 mm |
-> Opaline's tip: If you're hesitating between two sizes, always choose the larger size . Fingers tend to swell slightly in the heat or at the end of the day.

2. The Necklaces
To help you visualize how our chains will hang, here are the standard lengths:
- 38-40 cm (Choker): Worn at the base of the neck. Ideal for accentuating the way you hold your head.
- 45 cm (Standard): The "classic" length which reaches the collarbones. It is suitable for all necklines.
- 50-55 cm (Matinee): Falls above the chest. Perfect for layering with a shorter necklace.
Note: Most of our necklaces have a 3-5cm extension chain to adjust the length to your liking.

3. The Bracelets
Our bracelets are designed to fit most wrists.
- Standard Size: Our bangles and chains generally measure between 15cm and 16cm , with an extension allowing them to go up to 18 or 19cm .
-
How to measure? Use a flexible measuring tape to measure your wrist just past the bone.
- Add 1 cm for a "fitted" fit.
- Add 2 cm for a "loose" fit.
